This is a Canadian Government agency I would like to know more about.

They use Microsoft technologies from the .asp in their website.

Discovery Grants are awarded to individual researchers, normally for five years. 


I sent this email to NSERC (resgrant@nserc-crsng.gc.ca) asking about Discovery Grants:

Hello,

Do you have to be in university attendance to get a Discovery Grant?

I ask as an independent researcher, one that does not have an academic association or job.

Are there other grants that are available?
