This man needs money, badly. Like, 100,000,000. In the bank. Now. -- TLA BEGIN WRITING HERE =================================================================== What does a piece of writing mean? What is intelligence? Artifical? Natural? "That reminds me of the South Park where the preacher is going "I need your money."." Do you like music? I have lots. Do you make films? I've done some. Have you heard of Play Theory? I made it up. What about crypto? I don't buy drugs. -- What does MI5 do anyways? I am from Canada, a, uh, former colony? I have been thinking about language a lot. I don't solve crossword puzzles or word searches. I don't know anybody at CSIS and I don't work for the government. 'Is it true that I am in the position of "Director" at your establishment?' What is the validity of that saying? I wrote the CIA twice asking if they wanted to license some of my software. "I highly doubt it because I am not getting a paycheque from you." Did that person just Lie? Security is a big responsibility these days. What's your budget? IS IT BIG ENOUGH? But I could be! Send a cheque to 804 - 3830 Brentwood Road NW, Calgary, Alberta, Canada, T2L 2J9. I have been working on a language called Clarity, which is something I consider quite important in the field of proofing and hopefully, getting things done, in the future, which is what Programming is all about. -- It brings proof back to english, at least in a machine checkable way. I know a lot about AI, from Zippy bots to Elisa's to the idea of SHURDLU and others. AI) Artificial Intelligence (Natural Stupidity) Zippy Bots: Paranoid Insulters available from Emacs Elisa: M-x doctor - also available in Emacs SHRDLU: Planning software (GPS variety) I'd like to explore them further, both by myself and with a team, possibly with a team, since I work by myself. I talk to myself a lot, some might call it payer, some might call it practicing my voice acting. Where is an artist to practice these days in the extroverted arts? I figured someone must have been listening. We do live in an Orwellian society. I saw that a while back, maybe 2010. -- I heard so on the the comms. Does that mean I'm mentally ill? The comms are the voices in my head. I have been suffering with them. I have been suffering. I wonder if you read these letters being on blogger.com somehow in your internets and carnivores or if real live people are reading this and then I wonder what time and then I wonder what place and then I wonder wait That above is an example of something that is unclear in it's intent and actions. It is not written in a level of Clarity that is proofy. It takes intelligence to understand it, and to interpret it. Is it live or is it not? Does that make sense. What is Clarity? Clarity is a set of rules, algotihms and software for checking and 'proof'ing documennts. Some might call it a Language framework that is based on Linguistic principals. The Fact is I need an income
I tried writing NSERC yesterday, in two introductory emails. I pondered on what 'facts' and 'work' are, with the idea of being a 'fact checker' on the internet could somehow be a job. I need to branch out. Maybe the CBC is looking for people to work in it's online media devision. It might not pay much, but it could be a start and a place to start searching further.
What is a fact?
Facts were mean to be forgotten, that is why we write them down. That is a saying of mine that I like to repeat from time to time. Writing is the act of committing your thoughts, words and actions to the media of the "memory machine". That is what I normally call computers these days, as opposed to a "computational machine". The act of putting things down in this machine is a commit to memory, a sign of work and an act of broadcast all in one. Actually putting anything into this machine is an act of broadcast, through time and space, if someone chooses to look at sometime in the future. What is work?

Hyundai Reportedly In Talks To Buy Softbank-Owned Boston Dynamics (bloomberg.com) 15 Posted by BeauHD on Wednesday November 11, 2020 @08:00AM from the robots-destined-for-the-factories dept. An anonymous reader quotes a report from TechCrunch: SoftBank Group Corp. is in talks to sell robot maker Boston Dynamics to Hyundai, people familiar with the matter said. Proposed terms of the deal would give the South Korean automaker control of the robotics company in a transaction valued at as much as $1 billion, said one of the people, all of whom asked not to be identified because the discussions are private. The terms have yet to be finalized, and the deal could fall apart, said the people. A sale of Boston Dynamics would mark another twist in the trajectory of a company that spun out of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the early 1990s and operated independently until Google bought it in 2013. It was sold again in 2017, that time to SoftBank. At times, Boston Dynamics has functioned more like a research organization than a business, churning out machines that are technologically advanced and whimsical but unprofitable. That includes Spot, a maneuverable dog-like robot. Video s of its creations regularly rack up millions of views on YouTube; however, the company has said it is not currently generating profits. By contrast, Hyundai makes highly practical industrial robots intended for factory use.
Used to be owned by Google. Terminator videos notwithstanding.
Deutsche Bank research [tax home workers]
Deutsche Bank Research: Tax Home Workers 'To Help Those Who Cannot' (bbc.com) 183 Posted by msmash on Wednesday November 11, 2020 @03:10PM from the how-about-that dept. An anonymous reader shares a report: Working from home should be taxed to help support workers whose jobs are under threat, a report has suggested. Deutsche Bank Research suggests a tax of 5% of a worker's salary if workers choose to work from home when they are not forced to by the current pandemic. The tax would be paid for by employers and the income generated would be paid to people who canno t work from home. This could earn $48 billion if introduced in the US and would help redress the balance, the bank says. It argues this is only fair, as those who work from home are saving money and not paying into the system like those who go out to work. In the UK, Deutsche Bank calculates the tax would generate a pot of $9.1 billion a year, which could pay out grants of $2,640 a year to low-income workers and those under threat of redundancy "For years we have needed a tax on remote workers," wrote Deutsche Bank strategist Luke Templeman. "Covid has just made it obvious. Quite simply, our economic system is not set up to cope with people who can disconnect themselves from face-to-face society."
I don't know what I have to say on new taxes as of yet. The lifestyle of the home worker should be enough to pay for it. It's hard enough as it is.

Swiss Report Reveals New Details On CIA Spying Operation (washingtonpost.com) 15 [Slashdot]
Swiss Report Reveals New Details On CIA Spying Operation (washingtonpost.com) 15 Posted by BeauHD on Wednesday November 11, 2020 @05:10PM from the 20th-century-espionage dept. An anonymous reader quotes a report from The Washington Post: The CIA and German intelligence jeopardized Switzerland's historic reputation for neutrality by using a Swiss company as a platform for a global espionage operation for decades, according to a report released Tuesday by members of the Swiss parliament. Investigators concluded that Swiss authorities were aware of, and at times complicit in, an elaborate espionage operation in which the CIA covertly owned and controlled a Swiss company, Crypto AG, that secretly sold rigged encryption systems to foreign governments. The report marks the culmination of a Swiss investigation launched after the history of the Crypto operation was revealed earlier this year by The Washington Post in collaboration with ZDF, German public television, and Swiss broadcaster SRF. The Crypto operation exploited "Switzerland's image abroad as a neutral state," according to the report, which also said that Swiss authorities had effectively allowed the CIA and its German counterpart, the BND, to carry out "intelligence operations to the detriment of other states by hiding behind a Swiss company." The probe marks the first public accounting by a foreign government of an espionage operation so successful and extensive that a classified CIA history referred to it as "the intelligence coup of the century." The CIA did not respond to a request for comment, and the BND previously declined to comment. -- Why keep secrets when you work for the Government? Alberta Union of Provincial Employees (AUPE)
I figured that since I am looking to get into government I should look at this site. I would like to be an Employee of the Government, but I'm not sure if this site is really for people in positions that I apire to or am capable of fulfilling. I expect the union of this site to be more about service worker jobs such as food services, but I have not yet looked into if it employees than that. There are 4 sectors within the AUPE website: Government Services Health Care Education Boards, Agencies and Local Government One question I have is "how do I find work?" while I peruse the website. Clicking on a Local. Notice there is little way to contact someone from the local. They offer training.

Budget - Now
"This mortgage won't pay itself."
That is my current financial situation, but I need some sort of incomone to maintain and improve my current status of life. I have about 2 years to live, money wise, and that is of a pauper. I buy nothing other than essentials, and my mortgage is my highest expense. I need to reach out and find income in some way to help with expenses. It is how I go about doing that, that I am at a loss. Any suggestions that might help with me finding work?
Should Retraining Programs for Laid Off Retail Workers Include Computer Programming [comments]
In my case I am using Blogger.com as my main online note taking service.
It is a google.com company and has been around for years so I trust it will be up in the future.
To ensure that something is not a cachine problem, you have to get rid of the cache.
Which reminds me of an old computer joke:
There are 2 main problems in programming: 1) Naming things. 2) Cache invalidation. 3) Off by one errors.
Is Blogger.com still a google site?
Blogger is a free publishing platform, while BlogSpot is a free domain service provider. They're both owned by Google and are used together on the Blogger platform.Sep 30, 2020 WordPress Vs Blogger: A Detailed Blog Platform Comparison ...
Looks like it is. I was concerned about that. They lost Google Reader, so possibly Blogger as well, but it has been around for quite a while and i doubt it's going anywhere soon in the mean time.
I shall continue to share my backup scripts and backups on YouTilde.com.

. One way communication from site to reader is the veritable "mountain of data"
. Which brings us to "Neuromancer" by William Gibson (@greatdismal@twitter.com).
Read it in it's entirety here.
Neuromancer is a fictional reality of a somewhat distopian universe, but mostly I reference it to bring up the matrix or metaverse which I am currently on the edge of examining.
Open Simulator, Singularity and METAbolt
OpenSimulator is a Second Life like simulator that is open source.
I prefer the Singularity Client. I also like the METAbolt text based interface. I figure they are the MUDs of the future, so I figure I should make use of them and learn what is already there. I also like CoffeeMUD, a Java based MUD simulator. You can run it here.
It's Rememberence Day, November 11th, 2020
I seem to remember Rememberence Day being about war. Are we at war? Have we gone to Orwellian Times as predicted in 1984, something I was given to read in High School? War, I say, is the needless murder of citizens through both offensive and defensive tactics. So, basically, any death or murder of citizens is incorrect in my view. Especially suicide. #stopwarnow - it's not a play when you play reality "This mortgage will not pay itself." Live is Waiting (in more ways than one). There is the soapbox and then there is the ballot box, I don't vote, yet. I don't believe in Ammo Boxes, that's our life in Canada, so I've heard. I believe that all war should be ended and all should be given within need of the people. Needs are food and shelter. The first case is to get my mortgage paid. Then the needs of others. That is what I remember on this day, that the past is done and we cannot change it. The only way to look is forward, that is all that can be changed, the future. Mathematics is for looking at the future, statistics is for looking at the past. The more accurate your data in your statistics, the more acurate your forward planning will be. I believe in Blockchains as the database of the future, especially Ethereum and other databases. I want to make sure my data is open to those that need it in a secure way so that we are working from the same data set. That is what I remember today, and as @greetdismal@twitter says (William Gibson), "Remember the Future." -- @burtons

What is government?
Jul 14, 2020
I like that definition. I have been feeling a pull towards government in Canada becase I am a people of need. I need people to converse with and I need money to live. They say networking is a good way to get a job, so this will be my journey and path as I move through cyberspace and try to find a purpose.
I am a a Citizen of Canada, born in Canada. I should get to know it's government.
I read in a book I have "Humans and the One Eyed Deer" by P.T. Mosses, that the act of registering with a birth certificate is a way for the government to take over as parent's for the child. I don't know what country P.T. Mosses is from, but the act of birth certificates and what they do will be part of my research on my blogs.
How many employees are in the Canadian Government: In March 2019, there were 287,978 employees in the Federal Public Service.
